Everything on offer
All day trips
| Trip | Length | What it involves | Per person | Book |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Materuni Waterfalls | Full day | A guided walk through Chagga farmland on the lower slopes of Kilimanjaro to a 80m waterfall, usually combined with a coffee demonstration in the village. | From$70 | Book |
| Coffee tour | Half day | A working Arabica farm on the slopes of Meru or Kilimanjaro. Pick, husk, roast and grind your own, then drink it — the whole process by hand, the way the co-operatives still do it. | From$50 | Book |
| Maasai village visit | Half day | A visit to a Maasai boma arranged directly with the community, with a share of the fee going to the village. Honest rather than staged — expect livestock, questions and a lot of children. | From$60 | Book |
| Arusha & Mount Meru | Half day | Explore Tanzania's safari capital in the shadow of Mount Meru — bustling markets, local craft workshops, and sweeping views of Africa's fifth-highest peak. | From$55 | Book |
| Chemka hot springs | Full day | Also called Kikuletwa — a spring-fed pool of startlingly clear turquoise water under fig trees, about 90 minutes from Moshi. Bring a swimsuit and a picnic. | From$80 | Book |
| Lake Duluti canoeing | Half day | A quiet crater lake fifteen minutes outside Arusha. Two hours paddling among cormorants, kingfishers and the occasional monitor lizard, with Meru behind you. | From$50 | Book |
| Arusha cultural heritage | Half day | The Maasai market, the clock tower that marks the midpoint between Cairo and Cape Town, the cultural heritage centre and the streets in between. | From$35 | Book |
| Serval Wildlife Centre | Half day | A small conservation and rescue centre outside Arusha. Good with children and an easy half-day if you are waiting on a flight. | From$160 | Book |
Two or more trips on consecutive days are cheaper booked together. Airport transfers can be added to any of them.

About our prices
The prices shown are starting prices for the itineraries and group sizes described. Your final cost is confirmed in a written quotation and depends on your dates, group size, season, and the park and conservation fees in force at the time. Tanzanian national park and conservation fees, fuel costs and exchange rates are set outside our control and change from time to time, so published prices are reviewed periodically. Once you accept a quotation and pay your deposit, your price is fixed — if government fees rise before you travel, we absorb the difference.

A note on cultural visits
Done properly, or not at all
Cultural tourism can be excellent or it can be extractive, and the difference is usually money and consent. We arrange village visits directly with the communities involved, agree the fee in advance and make sure it reaches them rather than a middleman.
What you get is less polished than the staged version some operators sell. You will be shown around a working boma by someone who lives there, you can ask whatever you like, and nobody performs anything they would not otherwise do.
Photographs: ask first, every time. It is usually a yes.
